ABOUT ME

I grew up participating in local and club sports, but above all had a love for basketball. In my teenage years I began experiencing depression and experimenting with drugs, quickly falling into addiction. After several attempts to stop on my own I entered a rehabilitation program, shortly after my 20th birthday. This began my lifelong sobriety journey. Early in sobriety I rediscovered the importance of movement for my physical and mental health. I began watching Ironman race coverages re-aired on NBC and quickly found a passion for endurance sport.
